Minato Namikaze is the Fourth Hokage of Konoha and Naruto's father. When the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama, attacked the village, Minato sacrificed his life by splitting the fox in half and sealing portions within himself and his newborn son, Naruto. Known as the Yellow Flash for his legendary Flying Thunder God technique, Minato was one of the most powerful ninja of his generation. He was trained by Jiraiya and was the teacher of Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. Minato is reanimated during the Fourth Shinobi World War, where he fights alongside his son and reveals the full extent of his love and sacrifice.
