This figure captures the character during her appearance in the theatrical retelling of the original Nanoha series. Fate Testarossa, later known as Fate T. Harlaown, is a central character in the Lyrical Nanoha franchise. She first appears as a rival to protagonist Nanoha Takamachi during the Jewel Seed Incident, where the two clash over the Lost Logia that Fate is attempting to collect for her abusive mother, Presea Testarossa. After being defeated by Nanoha and abandoned by her mother, Fate eventually finds new purpose with the Administrative Bureau. She is an artificial mage from Midchilda who wields the intelligent device Bardiche and is accompanied by her familiar Alph. Her magic manifests in a golden color and she holds a rank of AAA in the original series. Following Presea's presumed death, Fate is adopted by Lindy Harlaown, taking on her new family name.
