From the popular idol series Love Live! Sunshine!! comes a 1/8 scale birthday figure of Kunikida Hanamaru, produced by Stronger and distributed by Kadokawa ASCII Media Works. This figure was part of the Love Live! Birthday Figure Project, which celebrated each Aqours member with a special figure release timed to their birthday. Hanamaru's figure was the first in the project, with reservations closing in October 2017 and delivery scheduled for February 2018 to coincide with her March 4th birthday. Love Live! Sunshine!! follows the school idol group Aqours as they strive to follow in the footsteps of the legendary group μ's. Hanamaru is known for her distinctive verbal tic "zuramaru" and her love of reading, often found in the school library. As a member of Aqours, she brings a gentle and quirky personality to the group dynamic. The figure stands approximately 200mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Miyajima Katsuyoshi and Kouda Issei. Reservation bonuses included a special clear file and message card, adding extra appeal for collectors of the Aqours idol lineup.
