Haman Karn is the leader of Neo Zeon and one of the most formidable newtypes in the Universal Century timeline. First appearing in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam as the regent of Mineva Lao Zabi and leader of Axis Zeon, she becomes the primary antagonist in Gundam ZZ, launching a full-scale war against the Earth Federation. Her complex relationships with Char Aznable, who was once her mentor and love interest, and Judau Ashta, the young protagonist of ZZ, define much of her character arc. Haman's ambitious and stubborn nature drives her to attempt the occupation of Earth, but internal conflict within Neo Zeon, sparked by Glemy Toto's rebellion, ultimately leads to her downfall. In the final Battle of Axis, after disarming Judau and being disarmed in return, she chooses to take her own life rather than surrender.
