Bandai's NXEDGE STYLE line launches with the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny as its inaugural release, numbered NX-0001. Standing approximately 80mm tall and constructed from ABS and PVC, this compact figure retailed at 2,500 JPY. The Strike Freedom Gundam is the successor to the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, piloted by Kira Yamato in Gundam SEED Destiny. This mobile suit was specifically tuned to meet Kira's combat needs, featuring Variable Phase Shift Armor, Super DRAGOON pods with an improved multi-lock-on system, and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system that generates the distinctive Wings of Light effect. Designed to operate alongside the Infinite Justice Gundam from the Eternal warship, the Strike Freedom emphasizes maneuverability over armor, with its internal skeleton adopting Phase Shift Armor materials to compensate for exposed joints. The NXEDGE STYLE line reimagines mobile suits in a compact, stylized format while maintaining key design elements.
