MegaHouse introduces Grendizer from the anime series Grendizer U as the inaugural release in their new Ultimate Article Mechanical line. This pre-painted figure stands approximately 360mm tall and 300mm wide, constructed from ABS and PVC with fully integrated LED and sound features. Grendizer U is a modern reimagining of Go Nagai's classic mecha series. Grendizer is the guardian mecha of Planet Fleed, piloted by protagonist Duke Fleed, voiced by Miyu Irino in the new anime. The original UFO Robo Grendizer was a pioneering work in the super robot genre, and this new series brings the iconic machine to a new generation of fans. The figure boasts the impressive scale the Ultimate Article line is known for, featuring synchronized light and sound effects that include Duke Fleed's iconic battle cries. Interchangeable weapon, wrist, and arm parts allow collectors to recreate signature poses including the Double Harken stance and the Screw Crusher Punch. The figure is scheduled for release in January 2025.
