Kaiyodo presents the Mega Sofvi Gamera from the 1996 kaiju film "Gamera 2: Attack of Legion." This large soft vinyl figure brings the guardian of the universe to collectors with impressive detail and scale, produced under Kaiyodo's Traffic Cone brand. In "Gamera 2: Attack of Legion," Gamera faces off against an extraterrestrial insectoid species known as Legion, which threatens to overrun Japan. As humanity's protector, Gamera battles these overwhelming creatures in some of the most spectacular kaiju confrontations of the Heisei era, with the film celebrated for its intense action sequences and biological creature designs. Sculpted by the legendary Yuji Sakai, this figure stands approximately 32cm tall and is crafted from PVC and soft vinyl. The original 19cm prototype has been enlarged using advanced 3D scanning and printing technology, preserving delicate textures of fangs, claws, rough skin, and carapace. Paint application is fully supervised by Sakai himself, with meticulous piece-by-piece coloring achieving higher quality mass production. The suggested retail price is 71,500 JPY with an estimated release in December 2025.
