Ascii Media Works releases a special Hachimenroppi version of Orihara Izaya from Durarara!!x2 as part of the figma action figure line, numbered SP-073. This figure captures the enigmatic information broker in a variant design tied to the series' complex narrative arcs. Orihara Izaya is one of the central characters of Durarara!!, a series set in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district where ordinary lives intersect with the supernatural. Izaya is a self-proclaimed lover of humanity who works as an underground information broker, manipulating events and people from behind the scenes for his own amusement. His complex rivalry with the superhumanly strong Heiwajima Shizuo is one of the series' defining dynamics. In Durarara!!x2, the story deepens as Izaya's schemes escalate and his connections to the supernatural elements of Ikebukuro, including the Headless Rider Celty Sturluson, become increasingly entangled with the city's criminal underworld. This figma stands approximately 145mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Yamaoka Jun and Asai (APSY) Masaki, it includes three facial expressions—relaxed, smiling, and angry—along with a knife and cellphone accessories.
