Alter's ALTAiR brand release of Orihara Izaya from Durarara!! is a 1/8 scale PVC figure depicting the series' infamous information broker. The figure captures Izaya in his characteristic casual stance, reflecting his laid-back yet menacing personality. Durarara!! is set in the bustling district of Ikebukuro, Tokyo, where a web of interconnected lives unfolds among gang members, supernatural beings, and ordinary residents. Izaya Orihara is a skilled underground information broker who claims to love the entire human race, though his definition of love means enjoying the unpredictability of human nature by placing people in chaotic situations and observing their reactions. He is a founding member of Amphisbaena and Heaven's Slave, as well as a member of the colorless gang Dollars. His deep-seated fear of ceasing to exist drives his obsession with understanding people, yet he remains unable to form genuine human connections despite desperately desiring to be loved. The figure stands approximately 210mm tall and was sculpted by Numakura Toshiaki. It was released at a price of 6,800 JPY.
