Good Smile Company releases the Doom Slayer from Doom Eternal as figma SP-140. This figure brings the iconic protagonist of id Software's acclaimed first-person shooter franchise into the articulated figma format, complete with an arsenal of signature weapons. Doom Eternal continues the story of the Doom Slayer, an ancient warrior bound by a crusade against the forces of Hell. After the events of Doom 2016, Earth has been invaded by demonic armies led by the Khan Maykr, and the Slayer returns to humanity's ravaged world to wage war. Armed with the Praetor Suit and fueled by an unrelenting rage, the Slayer battles through Hell and beyond, confronting both demonic lords and celestial beings. The game's emphasis on aggressive, fast-paced combat and the Slayer's mythic status as a being feared even by demons define the experience. Standing approximately 160mm tall, this figma is sculpted by Asai (APSY) Masaki and made from ABS and PVC. It includes the Chainsaw, Super Shotgun, Crucible Blade, and BFG-9000 as optional parts, along with components to display the Equipment Launcher and DOOM Blade in retracted or deployed forms. An articulated figma stand is also included. Originally released in November 2022 at 10,364 JPY, with a re-release scheduled for 2025.
