Nintendo produced this Kamui Amiibo as part of the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U amiibo series. As with all amiibo in this line, the figure functions as a training partner within the game, storing stats in its memory and learning the player's strategies to provide increasingly challenging opponents. Kamui, known as Corrin in Western releases, is a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, joining the roster as a downloadable content character. Hailing from Fire Emblem Fates, Kamui is a customizable avatar character who can transform parts of their body into dragon forms during battle, bringing a unique combat style to the Smash Bros. arena. The amiibo is compatible with Wii U systems natively and with Nintendo 3DS systems via the NFC Reader/Writer accessory, or built-in NFC on New 3DS and New 2DS models. Players can level up the figure, adjust its stats, and equip it with special moves and equipment for customized battles.
