Gecco, distributed by Mamegyorai, presents Cthulhu from the Cthulhu Mythos as a detailed collectible statue. This figure brings H.P. Lovecraft's legendary cosmic entity to three-dimensional form, capturing the dread and otherworldly presence that has defined the character for generations. Cthulhu is the central figure of Lovecraft's seminal short story "The Call of Cthulhu," first published in 1928. Described as a gigantic entity with an octopus-like head, rubbery body, and dragon-like wings, Cthulhu slumbers in the sunken city of R'lyeh in the Pacific Ocean. Cultists worldwide await the stars' alignment that will awaken him, bringing catastrophe to humanity. The Cthulhu Mythos has influenced countless works of horror across literature, film, and gaming. The figure stands approximately 170mm tall and is made from ABS, polystone, and PVC. Sculpting was done by Paul Komoda, based on the works of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, with additional contributions from David Dill. It was released in April 2017.
