Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - Asahina Mikuru - Asakura Ryouko - Nagato Yuki - Shamisen - Suzumiya Haruhi - Nendoroid (#044) (Good Smile Company)Asahina Mikuru, Asakura Ryouko, Nagato Yuki, Shamisen, Suzumiya Haruhi · Good Smile Company

Good Smile Company released this Nendoroid #044 featuring Asakura Ryouko and Shamisen from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Standing approximately 100mm tall and made from ABS and PVC, the figure was released on September 30, 2008. Asakura Ryouko appears to be a normal high school student in the SOS Brigade's world, but she is actually a Data Overmind humanoid interface serving as Yuki Nagato's backup unit. Behind her cheerful and friendly exterior lies a dangerously pragmatic entity willing to take extreme measures to observe Haruhi Suzumiya's behavior. Her sudden and shocking actions in the series make her one of the most memorable and unsettling characters in the franchise. The inclusion of Shamisen, the stray calico cat that gains the ability to speak during the Disappearance arc, adds an extra layer of charm to this release. As one of the earlier Nendoroid releases, this figure captures Asakura's pleasant smile and school uniform in the signature chibi style. The expansion parts set included with the figure allows for various display options, making it a notable piece for collectors of Haruhi Suzumiya merchandise.
