Good Smile Company, in collaboration with Pony Canyon, presents this Nendoroid of Akaza Akari from the slice-of-life comedy anime Yuru Yuri. This is the ＼Akari~n／ version, numbered 268b in the Nendoroid lineup, and it captures the cheerful protagonist in her signature energetic style. Akaza Akari is a member of the Amusement Club at Nanamori Middle School, a club that essentially took over the disbanded Tea Ceremony Club's room. Despite being the nominal protagonist of Yuru Yuri, Akari is playfully overshadowed by her more colorful friends, and her lack of presence becomes a running gag throughout the series. Her catchphrase, ＼Akari~n／, is a self-referential joke about her struggle to stand out, making this version's naming a fitting tribute to that recurring humor. The Nendoroid stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Nendoron and Udono Kazuyoshi, and was released in June 2013. As with most Nendoroids, it includes interchangeable face plates and accessories to recreate various expressions and poses from the series.
