A Princess of Mars is the seminal 1912 novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, following Civil War veteran John Carter's mysterious transportation to the planet Barsoom (Mars). There he encounters Dejah Thoris, the princess of Helium, and becomes entangled in the conflicts between Mars's various races. Dejah Thoris is a fierce and intelligent warrior-princess who plays a central role in the Barsoom series. The Sogen SF Bunko edition specifically ties this figure to the Japanese literary edition featuring cover art by Takebe Motoichiro, a celebrated Japanese science fiction illustrator. This X-Plus Masterpiece Series statue stands at 180mm and is crafted from polystone, polyurethane, brass, EVA, paper, and wood materials. It includes a space backboard for display measuring 26cm tall and 29cm wide, along with a framed print by Motoichiro Takebe measuring 21cm by 16.5cm. The figure was released on November 30, 2023.
