Aniplex presents Takigawa Miu from the 22/7 (nanabun no nijyuuni) project as a 1/7 scale figure standing approximately 235mm tall. Sculpted by Design Coco and Kawamo, the figure is made from ABS and PVC materials. 22/7 is a multimedia idol project produced by acclaimed music producer Yasushi Akimoto in collaboration with Aniplex and Sony Music Records. The project blends anime with real-life idol activities, featuring voice actresses who perform as both animated characters and live performers. The anime series premiered in January 2020 and follows a group of young women who are recruited into a mysterious idol organization housed in a giant cross-shaped building. Takigawa Miu is one of the central members, and her defining sentiment—"I didn't want to become an idol"—captures the project's theme of reluctant artists navigating an industry they didn't choose. The series explores the personal struggles and growth of each member as they confront the demands of idol life and the enigmatic organization pulling the strings. This 1/7 scale figure by Aniplex benefits from the collaborative sculpting work of Design Coco and Kawamo, capturing Miu's character design with attention to detail appropriate for the larger scale.
