T-elos is introduced as an antagonist in Xenosaga Episode III, designed to replace the series' iconic android KOS-MOS. Developed by the Galaxy Federation as part of the Zohar Project, she serves as the Federation's trump card against the Gnosis threat. Unlike KOS-MOS's robotic demeanor, T-elos possesses a sapient personality marked by confidence, assertiveness, and arrogance. She harbors an intense and hostile rivalry with KOS-MOS, and was created from the reanimated bodily remains of Mary Magdalene found at Rennes-le-Château, with over 80% of her body structure being organic material. Her ultimate purpose is to destroy KOS-MOS and assimilate Mary's consciousness to become whole.
