Mo Dao Zu Shi, also known as The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, is a Chinese animated series adapted from the novel by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. Wei Wuxian is a cultivator who pioneered the controversial path of demonic cultivation, using resentful energy and spiritual tools rather than traditional righteous cultivation methods. After his death, he is resurrected in the body of a young man and reunites with his former classmate Lan Wangji. Together they investigate a series of mysteries that uncover the dark truths behind Wei Wuxian's original downfall.
