Aquamarine presents the Ultraman Bust in the Limiter Kaijo (Limiter Release) version, standing approximately 240mm tall (about 9.5 inches) and crafted from ABS, PVC, and LED components. This version was released in June 2017 with a retail price of approximately 14,904 yen. Ultraman is the iconic tokusatsu superhero from the long-running Ultra Series, originally debuting in 1966. The character is a giant alien being who merges with a human host to protect Earth from kaiju and alien threats. The Ultraman franchise has remained a cornerstone of Japanese special effects entertainment for decades, spawning numerous sequels, spin-offs, and an extensive merchandise line. This Limiter Kaijo version is a re-release of Aquamarine's original December 2016 Ultraman bust, featuring a new paint scheme and different colored light-up elements for the eyes and chest piece. The LED functionality adds a dynamic display feature, illuminating Ultraman's distinctive eyes and Color Timer, which in the series serves as a warning indicator when the hero's energy is depleted during battle.
