Griffon Enterprises released this 1/7 scale figure of Flandre Scarlet from Touhou Project in her Laevateinn version. Sculpted by Akiyama Akio, the PVC figure stands approximately 250mm tall and was released on October 12, 2011, with a retail price of 9,800 JPY. Flandre Scarlet is the younger sister of Remilia Scarlet, the vampire mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion in Gensokyo. Possessing the ability to destroy anything by crushing its eye, Flandre's immense and uncontrollable power led to her being confined in the mansion's basement for 495 years. Despite her fearsome capabilities, she has a childlike personality and limited understanding of the outside world. Laevateinn is one of her signature spell cards, named after the mythological sword of destruction. The Laevateinn version figure captures Flandre with her distinctive crystal wings and destructive energy. Collectors should note that Griffon Enterprises is no longer in business, and their figures are known to commonly have quality issues, making condition assessment important for prospective buyers.
