Kaiyodo's Revoltech line presents the Evangelion Saishuugouki, also known as EVA-01, from Shin Seiki Evangelion ANIMA as part of the Evangelion Evolution series. Designated as EV-017, this release represents the Final Model version of the iconic mecha. Evangelion ANIMA is a light novel spin-off of the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise that explores an alternate continuation of the story. The series features redesigned and evolved versions of the familiar Evangelion units, with the Saishuugouki representing a further developed form of EVA Unit-01. The Revoltech line by Kaiyodo is renowned for its innovative revolver joint articulation system, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. The figure stands approximately 170mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Yamaguchi Katsuhisa, the acclaimed sculptor known for his work on the Revoltech line.
