Shana wields the flaming sword Nietono no Shana and carries the pendant containing the Crimson Lord Alastor, whom she serves as a vessel. Known for her sharp tongue and love of melon bread, Shana develops a complex relationship with ordinary high school student Yuji Sakai after his involvement in the conflict between Flame Hazes and Denizens.
