Bandai's Saint Cloth Myth line brings Cancer Death Mask from the classic series Saint Seiya to collectible form. Standing approximately 160mm tall and crafted from ABS, die-cast metal, and PVC, this figure retailed for 4,000 JPY. Saint Seiya was an explosively popular franchise in the 1980s, known for its magnificent story development and powerful battle scenes featuring a colorful cast of characters. The series follows young warriors called Saints who draw power from their constellations to protect the reincarnation of the goddess Athena. Cancer Death Mask is the Gold Saint of the Cancer constellation, one of the twelve most powerful Saints who guard the Sanctuary. Known for his ruthless nature and belief that justice is defined by power, Death Mask serves as a memorable antagonist during the Sanctuary arc. The Saint Cloth Myth line was originally created to commemorate the series' 12th anniversary and the upcoming Hades Arc OVA. A signature feature of the line is that the cloth armor can be removed and reconstructed into an object form, faithfully replicating the series' concept of Cloths.
