Good Smile Company and Max Factory collaborated on figma SP-043, depicting the Kyoshinhei (Giant God Warrior) from Kyoshinhei Tokyo ni Arawaru, also known as Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo. This special figma release brings to life one of the most striking creatures from Studio Ghibli's universe. Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo is a live-action short film directed by Hideaki Anno, produced by Studio Ghibli. The God Warriors originally appeared in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind as devastating biomechanical weapons of mass destruction that contributed to the collapse of civilization. In this short film, a God Warrior appears in modern-day Tokyo, creating an eerie and apocalyptic atmosphere. The project was a collaboration involving Max Factory, Kaiyodo, and Good Smile Company to produce figures of this iconic design. Sculpted by renowned figure artists Takeya Takayuki and Asai (APSY) Masaki, the figure stands approximately 160mm tall and is made from ABS, ATBC-PVC, and PVC. It retailed for 3,333 JPY with product code 4582191969428, capturing the God Warrior's unsettling organic-mechanical design in impressive detail.
