Good Smile Company releases Nendoroid #2531 featuring Inuyasha in his New Moon form alongside the fox demon Shippou from the classic series Sengoku Otogizoushi: InuYasha. In the series, Inuyasha is a half-demon who loses his supernatural powers and transforms into a human during the new moon, becoming vulnerable in the dangerous feudal era filled with demons and dark forces. Shippou is a young fox demon who travels alongside Inuyasha and his companions on their quest to collect the shattered shards of the Shikon Jewel. The figure includes face plates for both characters — a serious face and a blushing face for Inuyasha, plus a standard face and a smiling face for Shippou. Optional parts include the Tessaiga in its pre-transformation state and additional parts for various poses. Sculpted by Shichibee and Nendoron with production cooperation from Nendoron, this approximately 100mm plastic figure was released in December 2024 and retailed at around $44.99 USD.
