Kaiyodo's Revoltech line launched its Hokuto no Ken Revolution series with Kenshirou as the inaugural figure, numbered LR-001. Sculpted by Matsuura Ken, this articulated figure stands approximately 145mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC, priced at 3,619 JPY with product code 4537807110008. Hokuto no Ken, known internationally as Fist of the North Star, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has collapsed and brutal warlords rule over scattered survivors. Kenshirou is the 64th successor of the Hokuto Shinken martial art, a deadly fighting style that targets an opponent's pressure points to destroy them from within. Driven by a tragic past involving his rival Raoh and the kidnapping of his beloved Yuria by his former friend Shin, Kenshirou wanders the wasteland as a savior to the innocent and an avenger against the wicked. Released in September 2008, this figure utilizes Kaiyodo's signature Revolver joints, enabling a high degree of articulation for recreating Kenshirou's dynamic martial arts poses. As the first entry in the Revolution line, it set the standard for the series' detailed sculpting and posability.
