Wave's Dream Tech line presents this figure of Furude Rika from the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series. Furude Rika is ultimately the true main protagonist of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. As the daughter of the late Shinto priest of Hinamizawa, she serves as the miko of the Furude Shrine and appears in ceremonial garb during the Watanagashi Festival. Though she appears to be an ordinary young girl known for her catchphrase "Nipaa" and verbal tics like "mii" and "nano desu," the story gradually reveals that she is at the heart of the series' mysterious events. Her death triggers the Great Hinamizawa Disaster, and she has been killed across multiple arcs and unseen worlds. The villagers hold her in high esteem as the reincarnation of the local deity Oyashiro-sama. She lives with her best friend, Hōjō Satoko, near the Furude Shrine.
