Yamato released this Creators' Labo #004 figure of Rakka from Haibane Renmei, standing approximately 150mm tall. Sculpted in collaboration between Abe Yoshitoshi and Kobayashi Makoto, the figure is made from ABS and ATBC-PVC. It retailed for 4,800 JPY with the product code 0693904344402, with an initial release in December 2006. Haibane Renmei is a contemplative anime series created by Abe Yoshitoshi, set in a walled town where beings known as Haibane are born from cocoons with small wings and halos. Rakka is the newest Haibane, and the story follows her journey of self-discovery as she adjusts to life in this mysterious world and grapples with questions about existence, guilt, and redemption. The series is known for its atmospheric storytelling and philosophical themes. The Creators' Labo line by Yamato focused on artistic figure representations, and having the original creator Abe Yoshitoshi involved in the sculpting process ensures an authentic interpretation of Rakka's character design.
