This is the Black Light version of Biollante from the 1989 film Gojira vs. Biollante, produced as part of the Gekizou Series EX line by Art Spirits and Plex. Standing approximately 123mm tall, the figure is made from ABS and PVC and features sculpting by RYO with paintwork by Kouzuki Rio (Arsenal D.i). It was released in January 2025. Godzilla vs. Biollante is the seventh film in the Godzilla franchise and introduces Biollante, one of the most unique kaiju in the series. Created from the genetic engineering of Godzilla cells combined with a rose, Biollante is the result of a scientist's attempt to preserve his deceased daughter's spirit in a new life form. The creature undergoes a dramatic transformation from a giant rose-like entity into a massive, terrifying creature with a crocodile-like head and tentacles. Biollante remains one of the most emotionally complex monsters in the Godzilla mythos. The Black Light version of this figure can reproduce the glowing effect of Biollante's abdominal core, adding an extra layer of visual drama to the display.
