Bandai's Makai Kadou line presents Saejima Kouga in his Ver.3 form as Ougon Kishi Garo (Golden Knight Garo) from the tokusatsu series Garo. Standing approximately 190mm tall, this figure captures the armored form of the Makai Knight protagonist. Kouga Saejima is the central hero of the original Garo series, a Makai Knight tasked with hunting Horrors — demonic creatures that feed on human souls. Beneath his initially unsociable exterior lies a noble heart shaped by tragedy, having witnessed the death of his father Taiga at the hands of Barago. Kouga's character deepens significantly through his fateful encounter with Kaoru Mitsuki, a painter accidentally stained by Horror blood. Rather than end her suffering as duty would dictate, Kouga chooses to protect her, a decision that leads to his emotional growth and eventual romance. By the events of Makai Flash Knight, Kouga matures into a more open person while maintaining his dedication as a knight. Made from ABS and PVC, the figure is priced at 8,500 JPY. The Makai Kadou line focuses on the armored forms of the Garo universe's Makai Knights, and this Ver.3 release represents an updated sculpt of Kouga's iconic golden armor.
