Movic, through their Solid Theater brand, presents Altria Pendragon in her Saber Alter form from Fate/Stay Night as a 1/8 scale figure. Standing approximately 200mm tall and sculpted in PVC by Toda Satoshi, this figure was an event-limited edition released at Wonder Festival 2008, retailing at 6,500 JPY. Fate/Stay Night follows the Holy Grail War, a battle royale in which seven mages summon heroic spirits as Servants to compete for the wish-granting Holy Grail. Altria Pendragon, the Servant of the Saber class, is King Arthur herself, summoned in her youthful form. Saber Alter represents a corrupted version of Altria, consumed by dark energy when her master taps into dark magic. In this state, her normally noble and chivalrous personality is replaced by cold ruthlessness, and her golden Excalibur takes on a dark, malevolent form. This transformation occurs prominently in the Heaven's Feel route of the visual novel, where the corruption of Saber serves as one of the story's most dramatic turning points.
