Tomytec's The Bus Collection brings the Evangelion x Hakone 2020 collaboration to life with this 1/150 scale Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus Evangelion Wrapping set. Released as part of the MEET EVANGELION IN HAKONE event beginning January 10, 2020, these buses replicate the actual wrapped vehicles that operated between Shinjuku, Haneda Airport, Yokohama, and the Hakone area. The set includes two buses: one featuring the key visual design and another with the NERV headquarters design. The Odakyu Hakone Express Bus operated these specially wrapped vehicles along routes connecting Tokyo with the Hakone region, which serves as the real-world setting for the Evangelion franchise's Tokyo-3. These 1/150 scale, N gauge-sized models are painted and assembled display pieces made from ABS and PS materials. The set is compatible with BM-03 dedicated power for the key visual bus and BM-02R for the NERV-designed route bus, though the models themselves are non-powered display pieces.
