In Dragon's Crown, the Amazon is a complex melee class recommended for players of average skill. She has low health, but her strikes grow progressively stronger and faster as she continues attacking, rewarding aggressive playstyles. Like all melee classes, she can unleash a powerful area-of-effect attack at the cost of temporarily losing her weapon. In her ending, the Amazon is hailed by the people and recognized by a Hydeland noble family as their lost granddaughter. She is one of three female classes with a high luck statistic, improving loot acquisition during dungeon exploration. The game's character designs were created by George Kamitani, who drew inspiration from Frank Frazetta and deliberately exaggerated physical characteristics across all characters—male, female, and monster alike—to give standard fantasy elements a unique spin.
