Tomoyo Sakagami transfers to Hikarizaka Private High School as a second-year student with a fearsome reputation as a fighter who beats up delinquents. Her true motivation for seeking the student council presidency is to preserve the school's cherry blossom trees, which hold sentimental significance. She is also the title character of the sequel visual novel Tomoyo After ~It's a Wonderful Life~. In the main series, her dynamic with Tomoya Okazaki and the comedic running gag of Youhei Sunohara repeatedly challenging her to fights only to be defeated make her one of Clannad's most memorable characters.
