Nadeshiko is a transfer student to Motosu High School who recently moved to Nanbu-cho in Yamanashi Prefecture. Known for her boundless energy, enormous appetite, and carefree attitude, she is the polar opposite of her reserved best friend, Rin Shima. Despite her ditzy tendencies—such as getting lost in the mountains and falling asleep in the school library—Nadeshiko grows significantly by Season 2, successfully completing a solo camping trip and becoming more responsible. Her older sister Sakura once put her through a rigorous summer boot camp of biking around Lake Hamana, which explains her surprising stamina.
