Banpresto's Youkai Watch Hissatsuwaza Figure 2 series features Komajirou, the younger brother of the popular yo-kai Komasan. Standing approximately 60mm tall, this prize figure was part of Banpresto's lineup of collectibles distributed through Japanese crane game and prize systems. Yo-kai Watch follows protagonist Keita Amano (Nate in English) as he discovers a watch that allows him to see and befriend various yo-kai — supernatural beings from Japanese folklore reimagined for a modern audience. Komajirou is a Komainu lion-dog yo-kai who, unlike his older brother Komasan, embraces city life with enthusiasm. He is often seen with his smartphone and represents the more modernized counterpart to Komasan's rural sensibilities. The Hissatsuwaza (special move) figure line captures yo-kai in dynamic action poses. This PVC figure stands 60mm tall and was available as a prize through Banpresto's Japanese amusement machine distribution network, consistent with other prize figures in the Yo-kai Watch collection that could only be won in Japan.
