From Bandai's Armor Plus line comes Rekka no Ryou (Ryo of the Wildfire) from the classic anime series Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. Standing approximately 170mm tall and constructed from ABS and PVC, this figure represents the fire-wielding warrior leader of the five Troopers. Yoroiden Samurai Troopers follows five young warriors — Rekka no Ryo, Tenku no Touma, Korin no Seiji, Suiko no Shin, and Kongo no Shuu — each bearing mystical armor tied to elemental powers as they battle against the dark forces of the Masho and the villain Arago. The Armor Plus line, launched in 2009, was a collector-grade revival of the original 1988 Takara Super Ballistic toyline, upgrading to die-cast metal armor and more show-accurate character designs while retaining the signature removable armor system that allowed for dynamic display options. The figure retailed at 6,500 JPY.
