Kagamine Len is one half of the Kagamine pair, Japanese humanoid personas developed by Crypton Future Media for the VOCALOID2 engine. Codenamed CV02, Len and his counterpart Rin were initially released in December 2007 as the second set of vocals in Crypton's Character Vocal Series following Hatsune Miku. Both voices are provided by voice actress Asami Shimoda. The concept originated from the idea of a girl and her mirror image of the opposite gender, though Crypton ultimately left their relationship open to interpretation. Len is known for his brilliant arctic blue eyes, short blonde hair with a ponytail, and school uniform-inspired attire featuring white and black with yellow accents.
