This figure of Blood Boal is produced by Namco and based on the role-playing game Venus & Braves: Majo to Megami to Horobi no Yogen, which was released for PlayStation 2 in February 2003 and later ported to PSP in 2011 with additional content. Blood Boal is the main protagonist of Venus & Braves, a gentle albino youth with red eyes who possesses immortality and has lived for over 300 years. Originally a knight, Blood became a mercenary and fought in countless battles, earning fearsome nicknames such as Battlefield Demon, God of Killing Blood, and Diabolos of Tragedy. The weight of his immortality eventually left him isolated as friends aged and died around him. He later found peace as the leader of the Golem Bandits until the goddess Ariah appeared before him with a Prophecy of Ruin, setting the events of the game in motion. The story is set in the year 999, when a great disaster was foretold but forgotten by the populace. The game uses a rotation battle system shared with 7: Molmorth no Kiheitai and features a cast including the witch Vivid Orrin, who is obsessed with Blood despite her youthful appearance.
