Shogakukan presents this Limited Edition figure of Tora from the dark fantasy series Ushio to Tora (Ushio & Tora). The figure stands approximately 200mm tall and captures the fearsome yōkai in collectible form. Tora is a powerful tiger-like monster sealed in the basement of the Aotsuki family temple for five centuries by the cursed Beast Spear. When Ushio Aotsuki, the son of the temple keeper, reluctantly releases him, the two form an uneasy alliance and begin a journey together fighting supernatural beings that threaten the world. Despite his fearsome appearance and initial desire to devour Ushio, Tora gradually develops a complex bond with the boy. The series, created by Kazuhiro Fujita, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1990 to 1996, winning the 37th Shogakukan Manga Award and the Seiun Award. The manga had over 30 million copies in circulation by 2015. This Limited Edition figure stands approximately 200mm tall and is produced by Shogakukan, the publisher of the original manga. As a limited release, it offers collectors a special rendition of the iconic yōkai character.
