About this figure

Bandai's Ultra Monster Series (2016) #153 features Deathdrago, the destructive dragon monster from Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga. This figure captures the fearsome kaiju that serves as one of the earliest threats in the series. Deathdrago holds significant narrative weight in Ultraman Trigger as the first recorded monster to appear on Earth within the series' timeline. Six years prior to the main events, Deathdrago's rampage led to the death of Akito Hijiri's parents and validated Mitsukuni Shizuma's claims about monster appearances, directly resulting in the formation of TPU and GUTS-Select. In the present day, Deathdrago was empowered and brainwashed by Carmeara into a Dark Monster variant before being defeated by Trigger Sky Type. The monster's suit was created by modifying the Hellberus suit, sharing the same designer Daisuke Inomoto. This figure is part of Bandai's long-running Ultra Monster Series, a line of soft vinyl kaiju figures that has documented the menagerie of monsters from the Ultraman franchise since its inception.
