Bandai's Ultra Hero Series brings Ultraman Tiga in his Power Type form to the soft vinyl figure format. As part of the long-running Ultra Sofubi Series, this figure represents one of Tiga's three combat type changes. Ultraman Tiga premiered in 1996 as the first Ultraman series in over fifteen years, reviving the franchise for a new generation. The series follows Daigo Madoka, who transforms into Ultraman Tiga to protect Earth from monsters and alien threats. Tiga can change between three forms — Multi Type, Sky Type, and Power Type — each suited to different combat situations. Power Type emphasizes raw strength, turning Tiga's body red and silver while sacrificing speed for devastating physical power. The Ultra Hero Series line consists of approximately 5.5-inch (14cm) soft vinyl figures. Originally launched as Ultra Hero 500 with Live Sign compatibility for roleplay items, the line was rebranded to Ultra Hero Series in 2016. Each figure comes with a character information tag and retails at approximately 700 yen.
