About this figure

Funko Toys presents the Ultraman Jumbo Chan, a 14-inch (359mm) hard vinyl collectible that reimagines the legendary Tokusatsu hero in Funko's distinctive Jumbo Chan style. The figure stands with hands on hips, feet planted firmly, and belly forward, embodying Ultraman's valor and determination. Ultraman is the iconic superhero from the long-running Tokusatsu television series, originally debuting in 1966. As a defender of Earth against giant monsters and alien threats, Ultraman has become a cornerstone of Japanese pop culture and a beloved figure among tokusatsu enthusiasts worldwide. The Jumbo Chan concept was coined by Funko Founder Mike Becker, drawing influence from retro Japanese mascots. The name combines "Jumbo" (big) and "Chan" (child), reflecting the figure's proportions. Sculptor Colus Havenga and Package Designer Mark Jamotillo, both fans of Tokusatsu, collaborated on the design, which features unique faceted eyes and deliberate head-to-body proportions. The figure was developed through illustrated concept art and 3D modeling under the direction of Justin Jamanila.
