About this figure
Acro presents the Gabora figure as part of their KRS35 Series, a 1/35 scale collectible based on the kaiju from the original Ultraman television series. This soft vinyl figure stands approximately 57mm tall and is crafted from PVC material. Gabora is a uranium-consuming kaiju that terrorized several radioactive power plants in the original Ultraman series, devouring all the uranium it could find. When the creature was lured out using a uranium capsule attached to a Science Patrol helicopter, it turned toward a camp of boy scouts, endangering the children. The Science Patrol's Akiko Fuji helped save the trapped scouts while Shin Hayata released the capsule, but Gabora attacked his aircraft with its Uranium Beam. Hayata then transformed into Ultraman, who ripped off the fins around Gabora's neck — which concealed its true face — and defeated the subterranean beast in combat. This figure was released in December 2015 as part of Acro's KRS35 Series, priced at ¥880 plus tax. The series features kaiju from Tsuburaya Productions' Ultraman franchise, which premiered in 1966 and has been seen in over 100 territories worldwide.
