Acro presents the Semi Ningen from Ultra Q as part of their Kaiju Remix Series in the Original Color version. This figure reimagines one of the most unsettling creatures from the classic tokusatsu series that preceded the Ultraman franchise. Ultra Q was a 1966 television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya's Tsuburaya Productions, originally conceived as a Japanese equivalent to The Twilight Zone featuring supernatural and sci-fi mysteries. The Semi Ningen, or Cicada Human, appeared in the series as a humanoid-insect hybrid creature, embodying the show's blend of horror and science fiction. Acro's Kaiju Remix Series takes classic Ultraman franchise monsters and aliens and reinterprets them with fresh design approaches while maintaining their iconic characteristics. Standing at an impressive 380mm tall, this prepainted figure was released in February 2015 as part of Acro's ongoing Kaiju Remix line.
