This 1/6 scale soft vinyl doll captures the iconic shrine maiden in her signature red and white miko outfit, standing approximately 230mm tall. The figure was sculpted by ZUN and Chizuru, with a retail price of 12,000 JPY. Reimu Hakurei is the main protagonist of the Touhou Project, a beloved doujin game series set in the fictional realm of Gensokyo. As the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, she maintains the barrier between Gensokyo and the outside world and is tasked with resolving the various supernatural incidents that plague the land. Known for her laid-back attitude and formidable spiritual powers, Reimu is one of the most recognizable characters in the doujin and indie game community. This PureNeemo figure features a new soft vinyl head with flocked cap specifications and Hitomi Obitsu 10mm eyes. The mask paint and eye design were handled by DOLCHU, with body sculpting by Sawada Kobo and costume design by Taeko Sekiguchi. The body uses the Pure Neemo 2 Emotion S Girl (White) frame, and the figure comes with a costume set and loafers. Note that the hairstyle requires gel to maintain its shape, as noted by collectors.
