Due to her emotional instability and immense destructive power, Flandre was rarely permitted to leave the mansion and was raised with virtually no knowledge of the outside world. She possesses a terrifying ability to destroy anything by locating and crushing the metaphysical "eye" of an object — the point of greatest tension — in the palm of her hand. Despite her overwhelming strength, described as combining the destructive force of oni with the agility of tengu, she is normally quiet and good-natured, though others find her behavior deeply eccentric.
