Kotobukiya's ES Series brings Akira, the protagonist of Nitro+CHiRAL's Togainu no Chi, to life as a 1/10 scale PVC figure. Togainu no Chi is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan devastated by the Third World War, which split the nation into two factions: the CFC controlling the east and Nikkouren controlling the west. The story unfolds in Toshima, the ruins of former Tokyo, now ruled by the crime organization Vischio. Akira is a young man forced into a deadly street fighting game called Igura in exchange for his freedom from prison. His objective is to defeat Il Re, the strongest participant in Igura. Originally released as a BL visual novel on PC in 2005, the title later received PlayStation 2 and PSP ports, manga adaptations, a novel, and a twelve-episode anime series produced by A-1 Pictures in 2010.
