Embrace Japan presents Ryu from Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future as part of their Fighters Legendary line. This 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 235mm tall and features a Dark Blue version color scheme. Sculpted by Itou Yoshinori and OZ, the figure is produced in ABS and PVC. Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, first released in arcades in 1999, continued the storyline after the conclusion of the Third World Warrior Tournament. The game introduced new mechanics such as the Guard Parry, also known as the Red Parry, and brought back classic characters including Chun-Li. Ryu plays a central role in the game's story, notably defeating Alex comprehensively in a match that drives Alex to become obsessed with fighting him again, and narrowly defeating his lifelong friend and rival Ken.
