Max Toy brings the eerie and humorous Nanashi A to life as a soft vinyl doll based on the monsters from SSSS.Gridman. Standing approximately 100mm tall, this figure captures the distinctive creature designs that appeared throughout the anime series, rendered in the indie soft vinyl style that Max Toy is known for. SSSS.Gridman follows a group of students in the fictional city of Tsutsujidai who discover a hyper agent named Gridman trapped in an old computer. The series features monster-of-the-week encounters where creatures known as Kaiju appear, created by the enigmatic character Akane Shinjo. Nanashi A represents one of these unsettling yet oddly charming monsters, and the figure faithfully reproduces its bizarre proportions and unsettling details. The design walks a fine line between humorous and creepy, with painted teeth, gradient coloring on the torso, and individually painted fingernails and toenails. The figure features articulation at the neck and both arms, allowing for limited posing. This version uses red eyes and a black mouth interior, distinguishing it from an earlier April release that featured black eyes. The original header artwork has been replaced with new illustrations, and the figure comes packaged as a soft vinyl doll.
